Our shared agreement
Haven works because of the kindness people bring to it. These guidelines exist to keep this a soft, judgement-free place for everyone — especially on the hardest days.
Last updated: April 2026
Assume the person on the other side is doing the best they can. Validate before you advise. A short "I hear you" can be enough.
To keep Haven safe, we don't allow:
You're welcome to share what you're going through — including struggles with mental health, money, or your body. When you do, please add a content note at the top (e.g. "CW: grief") so others can choose when they're ready.
Haven is a peer space and an AI companion — it is not a substitute for professional care or crisis support.
If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line right away.
Every post and reply has a Report button. We review reports and may remove content, warn, suspend, or remove accounts that break these guidelines. You'll get a clear reason for any action taken on something you posted, and you can appeal by replying to the moderation message.
Moderators are real humans (sometimes assisted by AI tooling). We aim to respond within 72 hours.
A note from us
Haven is built on the belief that you deserve gentleness — even when you can't give it to yourself. Thank you for helping us keep this place soft. 🤍
